I’m not just a writer of non-explicit romance, but I’m an avid reader as well!
I’ve been reading since I was 4 years old when my parents, who were both teachers, introduced me to writing and reading. Since then…I read everything I can get my hands on. Maybe because I’m a person who loves deeply and I believe that love is the power by which hearts are filled, homes are made happy and wounds are healed, I find myself drawn to Romance. The non-explicit genre lets me focus on the relationships, the characters and the fabulous stories that make people fall in love. Thanks to my vast history as a hopeless romantic, I look for books where I can follow a group of characters throughout their romance, and sometimes authors write books that are not necessarily a series, but they’re linked, or what you might call parallel novels. This lets me follow a character into more than one romance! Come take a peek at some of my favorites, and see if you’d like to fall in love with non-explicit romance.
The Goose Girl (Book #1 of the Books of Bayern) by Shannon Hale
The Goose Girl joins Enna Burning, River Secrets, and Forest Born in the Books of Bayern series, all filled with fighting and suspense—and romance to boot. Her Austenland series is also fantastic.
Second Chances, by Melanie Jacobson
Second Chances is a companion novel with Jacobson’s book The List. The male lead from the list has a sister who becomes the heroine of Second Chances.
Go check out her contributions to the Tangerine Street Romance Series. This is a series of four books by three different authors, including Melanie, all based around businesses on Tangerine Street. Melanie joins Heather B. Moore and Julie Wright, both of whom write clean romance as well.
Jay Hawk, by Dorothy Keddington
Dorothy Keddington has been writing clean Romances since I was a teenager. All eight are fabulous romantic suspense, and Jay Hawk is hands-down my favorite!
Non-explicit Romance does not ignore romance. Go look at my available novels and you’ll find the passion, attraction and heartwarming relationships that bring people together and create, true love!!
In the meantime…keep reading and writing.
